ENTRY REQUIREMENT INTO FRANCE:

It is your responsibility to review and comply with France entry requirements.

 

CANCELLATION FEES

15 days before the tour date – 60% of total cost to be refunded

Less than 15 days before the tour – no refund possible

 

cORONAVIRUS

Official government ban on travel USA-France – 60% of total cost refunded or full tour credit for 1 year from booking date

 

TERMS OF PAYMENT

Direct Bookings: Payment on confirmation by wire transfer, credit card (Amex, visa or Mastercard), or cash -euros- are accepted.

Agency Bookings: Payment on receipt of invoice and at the latest, 15 days before the tour, unless other payment terms are agreed by our company.

LATE PAYMENTS. In accordance with the provisions of article L.441-6 of French law “Code du commerce” modified by the law of 22nd March 2012, in the event of late payment, you shall be indebted and liable to late payment penalties representing three times the legal interest rate and a fixed payment rate of 40 euros for recovery costs.

 

FAILURE TO PAY. In the case of non-payment of the tour, Burgundy Unlimited reserves the right to cancel, without prior notice, the sales contract.

 

UNFORSEEN EVENTS

Our company cannot be held responsible for any transport delay, itinerary change or cancellation due to any circumstance beyond our control (accident, immobilisation of the vehicle due to a mechanical or driver problem, traffic congestion, road closure, police requests, train, flight or boat delay…) or in case of force majeure (strike, extreme weather conditions etc,). This list of events is non-exhaustive. In case of an event which prevents the agreed transportation contract from being partially or fully carried out, and where the services must be suspended, Burgundy Unlimited will proceed to the partial or total refund to the client with no extra compensation, according to the point at which the service was interrupted by the incident.

 

INSURANCE

Our responsibility is defined by the professional insurance contract clauses and French legislation for passenger transportation. This obligatory insurance covers passengers and luggage transported subject to conditions. More information is available from our company on request.

CLAIMS

The present conditions are applicable to the transportation contract concluded by Burgundy Unlimited and the client benefiting from the transportation or intermediary in charge of organizing the transportation for the beneficiary. Any claims must be presented within 30 days of the service provided by registered letter with recorded delivery. Any claim not so presented will not be treated. In case of litigation, the Dijon Commercial court will have sole jurisdiction.

Burgundy Unlimited will treat all client information confidentially and will not share this information with unnecessary third parties.
